Curtis Hardy, DO, FAAD

Dr. Curtis Hardy is a dual board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist joining The Clinic for Dermatology & Wellness as a staff dermatologist and dermatopathologist—serving Medford, Grants Pass, Ashland, and Northern California. 

He grew up in Chapin, South Carolina, and attended The Citadel before serving as a pilot in the U.S. Navy. After a successful career in naval aviation, Dr. Hardy attended medical school at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Further training was completed at Naval Medical Center San Diego for residency and followed by Dermatopathology fellowship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.  He continues supporting academics serving as an assistant professor in the U.S. military’s school of medicine, the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.

Dr. Hardy is stationed in San Diego, CA, and performs services remotely and in person as needed. At Naval Medical Center San Diego, Dr. Hardy serves as the Chair of Dermatology and staff dermatopathologist.  His practice includes all aspects of dermatology in addition to dermatopathology.  He performs surgical and aesthetic procedures, including lasers, Botox, collagen filler, and chemical peels, while still centered around general dermatology.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hardy is an avid cyclist and can be found between the hills and the salty ocean air if not relaxing with his family.
