How does Sciton BBL work?
BBL by Sciton works by gently heating the underlying layers of the skin with broadband light, also known as BBL. The light-generated heat activates your body’s natural healing response. What should I expect during and after treatment?
A BBL treatment is fast and is performed as an outpatient procedure in your doctor’s offices. You also won’t have any downtime after your BBL treatment, which offers added convenience; you can quickly go back to any of your work, school or social activities. Side effects of treatment are generally very mild and require only minimal aftercare, such as wearing sunscreen. And most post-treatment symptoms disappear the same day.
In most cases, you will need to have three to five BBL treatments to get maximum results, with individual treatments occurring about three to five weeks apart. However, your results begin immediately as your body responds to your initial treatment. After completing your cycle of treatments, your body will continue to produce collagen and elastin and remodel your skin for months of glowing results.
